3 Ways To Guarantee More People Show Up Live On Your Webinar

What is a webinar?  I’m not going to go through the whole process of explaining what a webinar is because you already know that. I’m pretty sure you’ve been on plenty of them.

What you might not have thought about is

  • what webinars can do for your business

  • what it can do for your sales if you had hundreds of people on your webinar

So today I’m going to be sharing with you 3 ways to guarantee that people show up live on your webinar.

I decided to write about this topic today because a lot of people think that if they got one hundred people to sign up for their webinar, that means one hundred people will show up live. This is not the case. About 50% of your sign ups will show up live on your webinar. So, what you want to do is Implement some strategies that will help raise that 50%.number. I am also going to share with you, my day of webinar checklist for FREE.

 1. Pick a banging topic

Your title is everything. You want to make sure that your title is targeting your ideal client. You want to make sure that the title of your webinar is going to solve a problem for your customer. When they read it, they need to feel like I have to watch this, NOW. They need to be able to see how much of a benefit it is to them. Take some time on choosing the best title for your webinar.

2. Give a bonus to LIVE attendees 

One of the things I like to do is provide bonuses to my students that show up live. Providing an incentive always helps. When thinking of what incentive to offer your audience, make sure that the topic of your incentive has something to do with the topic of the webinar. For example, I recently did a webinar called “Popular on Purpose” where I show my audience how to become popular and make money from that popularity. I also created a seven-page workbook called Popular on Purpose workbook that allows them to fill in and use the workbook while listening along to the lesson. Get it?

3. Send out value filled emails  

If you’re familiar with me, then you know that I am always talking about email marketing.  Well, in this case, you want to make sure that you send value filled emails to your registered subscribers, all the way up until the day of your webinar. When I say value, I mean some tips or some tools that you would use to implement when teaching in your webinar. The point is to give your audience value that will entice them enough to want to make sure they show up live.

Why is it important for more people to show up live?

The ratio is that 50% of your registered participants will show up live, but the second ratio is that only 25 to 30% of those people that show up live will purchase your product or your offer. Hence the reason why entrepreneurs like myself try to make sure more individuals show up live to the webinar.

Another way to look at it is the Personal Touch. When people are able to see and hear you live, they get more of a personal connection with you which drive sales even more.
